1. Ownership & Copyright

All photographs, videos, films, graphics, audio recordings, written content, designs, edits, and any other creative works (collectively, the "Works") created, captured, edited, or produced by Summit Cinematics are the exclusive intellectual property of Summit Cinematics.

All Works are protected by United States copyright law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and applicable international copyright treaties.

2. License Type & Intent

This license is intended to mirror the structure and intent of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial (CC BY‑NC) license, while remaining a proprietary license owned and enforced by Summit Cinematics.

Summit Cinematics grants a limited, non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, revocable license to use the Works only under the conditions defined in this document.

3. Permitted Uses (Non‑Commercial)

Users may copy, download, display, share, and redistribute the Works solely for non‑commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Personal use

  • Educational use (schools, teachers, students, classrooms)

  • Editorial or informational use

  • Non‑profit or community organization use

  • Internal presentations or reports

  • Portfolio or showcase use that is not monetized

All permitted uses must comply with the attribution and restriction requirements below.

4. Attribution Requirement (BY)

All uses of the Works must provide proper attribution to Summit Cinematics.

Attribution must:

  • Clearly credit Summit Cinematics as the copyright holder

  • Be visible and legible

  • Appear near the Work or in accompanying credits

Acceptable Attribution Formats

For digital use, attribution should appear in the caption, description, footer, or credits. For video or film, attribution should appear in the end credits or description.

Failure to provide attribution automatically voids this license.

5. Non‑Commercial Restriction (NC)

The Works may not be used for commercial purposes under any circumstances without prior written permission from Summit Cinematics.

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

  • Selling, licensing, or renting the Works

  • Use in advertisements, paid promotions, or sponsored content

  • Use on monetized websites, YouTube channels, or social media accounts

  • Use by for‑profit businesses or organizations

  • Use that generates direct or indirect revenue

  • Use in products, merchandise, or services offered for sale

If money, compensation, donations, sponsorship, or financial benefit is involved, the use is considered commercial.

6. Modifications & Derivative Works

Users may not:

  • Edit, alter, crop, recolor, or remix the Works

  • Apply filters, overlays, AI processing, or compositing

  • Create derivative works based on the Works

Unless explicit written permission is granted by Summit Cinematics.

Authorized modifications must not distort, misrepresent, or harm the reputation of Summit Cinematics.

7. Prohibited Uses

Users may NOT:

  • Claim authorship or ownership of the Works

  • Remove or obscure copyright notices or watermarks

  • Use the Works in misleading, defamatory, or unlawful contexts

  • Use the Works in political, extremist, or controversial messaging without permission

  • Sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Works as standalone files

  • Use the Works as training data for AI or machine‑learning systems

Any prohibited use immediately terminates this license.

8. No Endorsement

Use of the Works does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or approval by Summit Cinematics of any user, organization, product, or viewpoint.

9. Revocation & Termination

Summit Cinematics reserves the right to revoke this license at any time, with or without notice.

Upon revocation or violation:

  • All rights granted under this license immediately terminate

  • The User must cease all use of the Works

  • Copies must be removed from public display where reasonably possible

10. Requests for Additional Rights

Uses outside the scope of this license — including commercial use, modifications, extended distribution, or exclusive rights — require prior written approval from Summit Cinematics.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using any Summit Cinematics Works, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this license.
